BIG DATA and STUF Announce Top 10 Companies for "Youth Empowerment Positive Influence"

BIG DATA Co., Ltd. and the STUF United Fund Asia-Pacific Center (STUF APC) today (January 24th) announced the Top 10 Companies for "Youth Empowerment Positive Influence." This survey utilized KEYPO to assess Taiwan's top 500 listed companies by market value from January 1, 2021, to September 30, 2024. Companies were evaluated based on their international influence, youth engagement, tangible results, and innovation and sustainability performance. Companies including Uni-President (7-Eleven Taiwan), FamilyMart, China Steel Corporation (CSC), and Formosa Petrochemical made the list. Wei Chiang, COO of BIG DATA Co., Ltd., stated that cultivating young talent is a long-term investment in a company's hidden value. This survey selected 20 listed companies by BIG DATA, which STUF APC then narrowed down to 10. Rebecca Shen, Director of STUF and CEO of the COP project, emphasized that youth are not just the hope for the future but a force for change today, and corporate support amplifies their influence. This collaboration embodies this spirit, hoping to inspire more enterprises to work together, promote generational coexistence, and showcase Taiwan’s sustainability value to the world.
Uni-President, FamilyMart Champion Local Revitalization and Youth Homecoming Employment
Uni-President (7-Eleven Taiwan) supports homecoming employment and green industry succession through its Youth Deep-Rooting Project, tangibly boosting local economies and sustainable development. The company's "Green Industry Succession and Joint Creation of High Wages" plan specifically combines high-paying job vacancies with agricultural innovation, encouraging youth to stay and contribute to their hometowns. FamilyMart integrates SDGs by promoting rural life experiences and local sustainability, encouraging youth employment and the revitalization of local culture. Its "Rural STAY" program allows urban youth to experience rural life and designs activities and projects based on sustainable development concepts.
China Steel, Formosa Petrochemical Drive New Technology; AUO Boosts Digital Learning for Rural Youth
China Steel Corporation (CSC) established a carbon-negative technology and hydrogen metallurgy co-research center to achieve its 2050 net-zero carbon emission goal, while utilizing industry-academia collaboration to deepen talent cultivation. The company's 'AIR HoPE' industry-academia R&D center, focused on decarbonization technology, actively implements environmental and educational responsibility. Formosa Petrochemical supports microalgae carbon capture technology and offers related sustainability vacancies, demonstrating its leadership in environmental technology and youth empowerment. ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. (ASEH) focuses on smart semiconductor education and a Sustainability Manufacturing Academy, supporting industry-academia integration and industrial upgrading, demonstrating global leadership in the convergence of industry and education.
